The room provided a comfortable sleep with minimal noise, making it restful after a long day. the hotel exhibited an outdated 1970s aesthetic, lacking modern amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. The absence of decent facilities detracted from the overall experience, despite the positive short walk into town. Breakfast was substantial and well-prepared, a redeeming feature worth noting.

The room was clean and well-appointed, with ample tea and coffee supplies, which allowed for smooth working hours. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring a good selection including a superbly cooked Full English.

Had a good stay but faced some hiccups! The staff were super nice and helped me find veggie options, though veggie should mean NO fish. Room felt super hot and needed AC. we thought we got a better room but ended up in a regular one instead. Restaurant had good vibes, though!

The room was pretty spacious, and the bed was seriously comfortable—like 6ft 6 wide! I liked how clean everything was, and they had loads of tea, coffee, and even biscuits. The staff were really great and super helpful, making the stay nice and easy.

What a delightfully unique experience! I loved how the hotel is steeped in history, with gorgeous architecture dating back to the 15th century. The private terrace access from my room made for a perfect cozy spot to sip tea and unwind!

We had a chill stay for a night with super friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The log fire added such a cozy atmosphere while we enjoyed a nice family meal. One bummer was the limited soft drink options, but the food was still super tasty! Definitely a nice place to relax.
